Policy & Ordering Information
99% of all RCI Drum and shell products are custom made to order and are tailored to the customers order. All custom orders are non refundable and non returnable. All shells are guaranteed against split seams (directly not veered off the seam) for 1 year upon inspection. RCI Does not cover shipping incoming or outgoing on items for repair or warantee. Warantee is non transferable and only to the client who originally bought the item with confirmed receipt of purchase. Shells are not guaranteed against drops, cracks, and careless handling which can cause damage.
OEM Customers
RCI shells can be sold to custom drum companies that would like to use our shell component. Our shells are sold undrilled and without bearing edges for your custom project. Our shells have a limited seam warrantee for OEM customers. Shells modifield from its original state (drilled edges etc) do not hold any other warrantee and are held harmless
Stock Items RCI Starlite Branded drums Misc. orders
Any item that we have in stock other than custom made items can be returned within 15 days of purchase with a 20% restocking fee. If the drum/hardware has an issue the drum must come back to RCI to be examined. Heads sticks are not covered. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
Special conditions for cancellation and special order storgae:
Any special orders placed within 5 business days for drums or special parts ordered and that either we had the material processed cut and or allocated and request to be cancelled will incur a 15% cancellation fee. Anything over 7 days can not be cancelled. Some time orders require parts that may not be in stock and will delay an order. Special orders that have been placed and have stayed unfinished or parts or information not received from client in a timely matter or an order not complete or unpaid will incur storgae charges per week and will be cancelled after a 1 year.
Damage during shipping National & International Policy
RCI goes to great lengths to make sure your drums and drum products arrive safely. RCI invests in heavy duty double wall boxes, and quality packing materials. All RCI items are inspected before leaving the factory. In the event of damage call your USPS, DHL UPS or Fedex carrier to file a claim (this can vary inside or outside the USA and depending on carriers) and may have to be done by the shipper or receiver and or both. Underinsured items are shipped at the customers risk and will not be honored if damage is incurred to package if damage is more than amount insured for. RCI will work its best to get the problem resolved. International shipments must file a claim in the same manor and in some cases items must need to come back to RCI Starlite for inspection. All items that are cleared for return must obtain a Return Authorization from RCI Starlite. Returned items are sent back on the customers expense. When it arrives to RCI Starlite we will inspect the damaged item and make our decision upon the conclusion. and determine the best coarse of action. We do not provide return prepaid labels inside or outside the USA items come back to RCI Starlite on the customers expense until we conclude our inspection.Any alteration or alterations done to an RCI Starlite product or repair or repairs done on an RCI Starlite product or non RCI Starlite product that was purchased from RCI without authorization from RCI voids any type of Warranty and cant be returned or replaced
